The hat is some where betweena beanie and a slouchy hat. The upturned brim allows you to pull it down to protect your neck if there is a cold wind.

The hat is knitted with a contrast band, and then in fairisle/ standed colorwork for the main body. This is for a knitter with an intermediate skill lvel.

Each box comes with;

·      1 ¼ balls of the main color :100% Super wash wool (50g)

·      1 ball of contrast color: 100% Super wash wool (50g)

·      3 small amounts of yarn of alternate rim colors for you to choose from.

·      Instructions for knitting the hat.

·      Tabloid size chart of the design for ease of use.

·      Postcard on why you should leave the leaves.

You need to provide US 5/ 3.75mm and US 6/ 4mm circular knitting needles and a tapestry needle to finish

The hat kit comes in six different colorways, with the addition of three alternate colors of yarn for the contrast band., so that you can choose the final outcome to suit your personality or for whoever you may be gifting it to. In all the kits the main color is the lightest color.
